Once upon a time...
I made this little fairies really quickly today by swishing around some water color and then, inking in the faces and details. Recently, I read that it can be interesting to draw whatever you would choose to draw if you knew no one would ever see it. The first thing that came to my mind was... fairies! I guess that is what my 6 year old self would want to draw so I usually avoid them. When I heard the
Inspiration Avenue's Weekly theme was "Once upon a time," I figure this is my chance to enter the fairy realm. I tried to give them a ephemeral quality... at any moment the could flicker out of sight.

oh these are awesome - wonderful creativity
These are so lovely. I did a painting like this last week where I played with watercolour first then drew on top. It's really refreshing and fun. How nice to meet you here at Inspiration Avenue. I'm off now to have a better look around your blog...

You're fairies are really gorgeous! You shouldn't fight your six year old self ;-)
Hello,
I came over from Inspiration Avenue. Your little faries are amazing. For something quick, you have touched a deep creative soul then because they are beautiful.
Gorgeous Fairies and great colors :) I love it :)
So very pretty!!!
I agree with Eva-very pretty!
Wonderfully creative, they look like they could disappear in the blink of an eye - as all good faries can.

These are simply amazing. I can't draw anything, so I'm totally impressed with your sketching around the watercolors. What an awesome technique and pretty awesome IA challenge entry, too.
