Month of Cats Day 25: Lily Sitting in the Center of the Sky
Meet Lily. She sits contently in the center of the sky. Everything is vast, still, and quietly beautiful. The wind might rustle a song out of the leaves but she is far from human voices and other meows and hisses. Lily contains the sweet expanse of solitude. She know how to be peacefully alone. She will return to the world soon, but for now, let's not disturb her.
Lily is inspired by one of my favorite authors, Virginia Woolf. She expertly explores the interior spaces of thought, musing, and emotion. Lily is named after the painter in Virginia Woolf's "To the Lighthouse."
