Month of Cats Day 27: Luna
Meet Luna. She is the perfect halloween cat. She may seem a little ominous at first but do not worry she is truly here to help us. She is the catalyst. She is the kitty form of the philosopher's stone – the magical alchemy that metaphorically turns lead into gold. She might shake things up like a crazy thunder storm but the sky will be so much clearer afterwards. She is the maven of breakthroughs and revelations. When Luna crosses your path, you might feel a shiver but do not be afraid. That is only the first sign of a miraculous shift.
Luna has a crescent moon on her head just like the guardian cat, Luna, in the Sailor Moon anime. Right after, I painted her, I noticed the most breath-taking crescent moon in the sky where the earthshine was illuminating the entire moon creating an enchanting glowing outline. The night sky will always remind me of my dad who would wake me up in the middle of the night to go outside and see the milky way. I loved those awe-inspiring jaunts into the cosmos.
